Gone for a short week out of the country and look what I return to! A blog full of posts... What an exciting welcoming home gift! So much to catch up on! Darn I missed the pic though!

I was in Queretaro, Mexico for a little SpringBreak vacation/mission trip. I flew down with two girl Anne and Cara to visit Cara's sister who lives there as a missionary! Any way I had a blast and here are some exciting pictures.


We hiked up the 3rd largest rock in the world. Talked a whole lot of Spanish and ate great food. Below is a picture of some kids we met at the mission church...I loved it there....sad to be back to reality but soon I will be off again traveling north to the party of the year! Yikes I still don't have anything to wear!! Miss ya all can't wait to see ya!

What's with all the posting recently? Y'all need to spread it out a little! It's like information overload! Can't keep up, now I have to check the blog daily so I don't fall behind!

Most exciting news of the week: (housemate) Jon and I are house-sitting for our boss. Mainly this involves baby-sitting an extremely needy and spoiled yellow/chocolate/who-knows-what lab, who also happens to be incredibly friendly and cute. Even though I'm more of a cat person, this dog makes me wish I had one. So here's my question:

Why is March so much freakin' colder than January or February?

A Public Challenge

Martha said she was going to post on the easthallblog on friday.

Did she? um no.

I challenge Martha to post by Midnight on Monday night.

Who thinks she'll do it?

The stakes? If she makes it, I'll take down this not so flattering picture. (she met the challenge... picture be gone.)

Adam and Martha and David and I had a fun adventure at IKEA today after church. So much to see--so many ideas.

David and I signed a lease for a new apartment on Saturday. We'll be living like four blocks away from the Ruggles's's. And a tad closer to the redline train than we are now. And right by Treasure Island, "the most European grocery store in the United States"...as they advertise anyhow. Our own apartment--at last.

I'm getting quite excited about seeing many of you in less that 3 weeks. Yikes. So much to do.

Let's get some blogging going people. It's a real good time. Everyone's doing it. (well actually i'm the only lately, but i'm making look as cool as possible.)

This lomo didn't turn out the best. But it certainly conveys my excitement after having seen Wicked, sitting with David in the fr0nt r0wz0r, having won two 25 dollar tickets in the pre-show drawing. On my first try. Booyahweh.

PS. I don't think the guy behind me had a good time. I heard he had the indigestions through the whole second act. He's just praying he can make it home before he has an accident of Adam-Roth-proportions.

Alrighty so I have been surfing around online you know the drill.... trying to get some crative juices flowing for an awesome post....but alas no luck...just wasting more time looking....so here goes nothing...

I will be out of my place March 31 and no later or there is a ridiculously expensive daily charge... no place to go as of yet....still trusting in God on that one. Kellie my final roommate is moving home to save money for her wedding in June. Leaving me to fend for myself. At first there were too many options now there are slim to none!! Good places go fast! Back to square one and just trying to keep the faith!

Living excitiedly through my sister's picture updates from Ecuador and the trips she is taking like THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS...oh yeah...I am so going to visit in May...watch for that update!

I work alot...I probably shouldn't because as I was told this is my prime time in my life to meet that special someone......ohh yeah...but since I work nights...I can't have a real social life so really I am doomed.... or so she said.....I hate one-sided conversations with random people.

MARCH MADNESS! I think I am gonna throw another huge party...send your bracket this way...they will be posted and followed closely..winner takes all.

Still thinking of giving something up for lent...and still thinking....any suggestions?? Emily was always so good about giving some thing up every year.... I can't give up sweets what would I eat on my b-day?!
